Reseña/Review: tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette

Hace par de meses, una amiga me preguntó si yo quería unos productos de maquillaje que ella no había usado, pues ella pensaba que los colores no le favorecían. Como buena #MakeupJunkie le dije que sí, pues estas oportunidades se dan muy poco en la vida (Helloooo! ¡Maquillaje gratis!). Uno de los productos era recién lanzado y de tarte, una marca que me moría por probar. Así fue que descubrí el tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette.

Some months ago, a friend asked me if I would like to have some makeup products that she had not used because she thought the shades didn’t look good on her. Like the good #MakeupJunkie that I am, I said yes, since this kind of thing doesn’t happen every day (Helloooo! Free makeup!). One of the products was recently launched and it was from tarte, a brand that I was dying to try. That’s how I discovered the tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette.

Empaque/Packaging  

Las doce sombras vienen en una paleta violeta y dorada, la cual incluye un espejo. Este empaque es hermoso, elegante, moderno y fácil de abrir.

The twelve shades come in a purple and golden palette, which includes a mirror. This packaging is beautiful, elegant, and modern.

Fórmula/Formula

Como ya indica el nombre, todas las sombras en esta paleta son matte. Sin embargo, noté que el color “best friend” tiene una leve pizca de brillo, pero esto se ve solamente al ver la sombra muy cerca. La pigmentación es excelente: el producto deposita bastante color desde la primera aplicación. Los colores son mayormente neutrales, aunque van desde lo sutil a lo fuerte, pues incluye colores claros y oscuros (rosados, cremas, marrones, negro).

Like the name says, all the shadows on this palette are matte. However, I noticed that the “best friend” shade has a little bit of sparkle, but you can only notice this if you at it very closely. The pigmentation is excellent: the product deposits a lot of color from the first application. The colors are mostly neutrals, yet they go from subtle to bold because the palette includes light and dark shades (pinks, creams, browns, black).

Desempeño/Performance  

Estas sombras son bien fáciles de mezclar. Las he usado en varias ocasiones (con o sin primer) por alrededor de ocho horas y tienen larga duración. Este párrafo me va a quedar muy corto, porque realmente no tengo nada negativo que decir de este producto. ¡Es prácticamente perfecto!

These eyeshadows blend very easily. I’ve used them on many occasions (with and without primer) for about eight hours and they are long lasting. This paragraph will end up short because I really don’t have anything negative to say about this product. It’s practically perfect!

¡El tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette se queda en mi vanity tray! Este es uno de los mejores regalos que he recibido en mi vida. Aunque el precio puede asustar, puedo decir que vale la pena hacer la inversión por su excelente calidad y que lo compraría cuando se me acabe. Recomiendo esta paleta para todo el mundo por su versatilidad, pues puedes crear desde un makeup look para las horas del día (incluyendo entrevistas de trabajo) hasta un makeup look para las horas de la noche. Si buscas una paleta práctica y de calidad, o si buscas colores neutrales, esta paleta es para ti.

The tartelette Amazonian clay matte palette stays on my vanity tray! This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received in my life. Although the price might scare, I can say that it’s worth making the investment because of its excellent quality. I would definitely buy it once it’s over. I recommend this palette to everyone because of its versatility, since you can create from a daytime makeup look (including job interviews) to a nighttime makeup look. If you’re looking for a practical palette that delivers quality, or if you prefer more neutral colors, this palette is also for you.
